That’s right, James and Michael got some hands-on time with some of Nintendo’s upcoming games this holiday season, including Super Mario 3D World, Sonic Lost World, and Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. Check out our videos below and see what we thought of each game!
It’s nice to see faces 🙂
I’m really struggling to get excited about 3D world. This helped a bit, but it just doesn’t seem to have the same spark of originality and excitement that the galaxy games had instead it’s in the same rut as the side scrollers and 3D land and I’ve had enough of that for now – I want something new.
How was the more top down view when playing the zelda game? I still think it looks weird in pictures/video. Did you get to see any characters talking as you don’t seem to be able to see their faces I can’t imagine it not seeming odd. I’m hoping once you start playing it yourself you’ll soon get used to it.
I have to say – we didn’t get this part on video – that 3D World does have a charm to it that wasn’t there before. The first (assuming) boss-battle with Bowser brought back some much needed “Oomph” to the game. However, I’m still a bit torn on 4-player.
With Zelda 3DS, when speak with people, it kind of zooms it a bit, camera sitting at around 56 degrees. This way you do see some of their face!
